Flirt Adventures: Tips on Attracting the Younger Guy

A couple of weeks ago, I went on a great spontaneous midlife adventure. An adventure gal pal (we all need them!) and I went to a private party at a sports bar in North Hollywood. When we walked in, this hot young guy greeted us at the door (he was a co-owner of the place).

Once again I jumped ahead of myself going for it without thinking, “following my own lead” . “You are so handsome” I said, looking deep into his eyes. He smiled (actually beamed) and said “thanks.” It was one of those great Sizzle Chick Adventure moments! (maybe because I was IN THE MOMENT). Before I caught up with myself realizing what I just did,  I was in the midst of a great flirt adventure with a very cute guy.

Our flirting lasted an hour or so. (he had no idea how old I was. He was 29). Before I left, hot young guy wanted to continue our flirt adventure beyond the party (I can’t repeat what he said, but it was pretty sexy). We exchanged cards and I walked out of the Sports Bar door with an extra Sizzle in my step.

Adventure Flirt Tip: Have other adventures lined up, so you have to leave earlier than you’d like making them want more.

Then I got to thinking. Women don’t often realize their power to attract. How often do you see or meet a man and never let him know that you find him attractive? All we have to do is be real. Be our fabulous midlife sexy selves.  And the adventures will take care of themselves.

Adventure Flirt Tip: Dish out a compliment to a man you see or have just met, mean it, then LET IT GO. HAVE NO EXPECTATIONS. Treat that compliment as an adventure not a come-on.

Then, we were off to another adventure, this time a party in Beverly Hills. It was one of those “poser” parties with real life posers- actual models posing on a neon riser, and lots of other beautifulish people holding flutes of champagne.

Normally a party like this would immediately bore and slightly intimidate me. But not tonight. I was armed with new energy and that sizzle in my step (and my fabulous 5-circle silver necklace). As I was making my way through the crowd, I locked eyes with a Taye Diggs look-a-like. Flirt adventure #2. Just like those pebbles in a pond, one adventure starts to morph into another. Before I knew it, I was meeting more attractive men. (Yes, I told them they were handsome). Was I becoming a man magnet or was it my silver 5 circle necklace? Or was it just the adventure of it all?

I have to say that you hit it right on the nail. If you want to flirt, or have an adventure with a ‘younger man’… Just show some interest! Most women their own age don’t show the same interest you might – Honest and up front, and guys tend to like to know where they stand and not have to play games..

Think about it. When you were younger, and were not as seasoned, you may have been nice to a guy with no intention of flirting or romance or an adventure… And the next thing you know he’s running after you like a puppy.

I’m 44, VERY happily married and not a younger man… but I was once a younger man, so I am speaking from experience here. Us guys are rather simple (in sometimes a complex way)… So, being straight forward and honest will definately help you to meet men, attractive or not. Women have a power over men that they don’t truly understand. And the funny thing is that men know that… and will get in-line rather quickly.

But that power you Women have can also attract the kind of men you may not be interested in… you could wind up with a whole pack of puppies chasing after you.

Great article again… Got me to writing for sure.

Excellent advice!! I agree completely. When you offer a sincere compliment without any strings attached it is so attractive to you BOTH. Way to put it Tracy…
