The stories keep coming! And still I haven’t been on an actual date yet, but I’m getting close. Okay, last time in Dating Adventures #5 I told you about my first Match.com breakthrough. I called a guy and set up a date. After sleeping on it (not with him!) I realized by the very forced phone conversation and a few strange comments from him, that we “weren’t a match” (Match.com code for “I’m just not that into you”). Another guy emailed me who looked pretty interesting. We emailed back and forth. He really opened up about his life. So, I decided to come clean. I told him I was older than the age I put in my profile because I didn’t want to be put in a box. It was breakthrough #2 and It was only 2 days into my second Match.com week! I was nervous for his response as I’d been told guys get really mad when you don’t put your truthful age.

And guess what? He didn’t care. We’re going out next week. So stay tuned.
